Multisol UK has added the Babygrow Appeal to a growing list of charities that its employees and customers have supported over the years.
Launched in December 2012, the Babygrow Appeal aims to raise £3million in order to build a new neonatal unit at the Countess of Chester Hospital, which will be more than double the size of the current facility.  It will provide patients and their families with a more spacious environment and a greater degree of privacy.  The Babygrow Appeal exists to provide things over and above core NHS provision for families at what can often be a very distressing time.
The charity was nominated by Multisol employee, Ruth Wales, whose granddaughter Emma was born over eight weeks premature and was immediately admitted to the Neonatal ward at the Countess of Chester Hospital as she needed lots of help and special care. After nearly 5 weeks in intensive care, little Emma is now doing really well as the photos demonstrate.
A fund-raising page which provides an ongoing update has been set up by Andy Lamb, European Key Account Manager, Multisol.
“We are delighted to be supporting such a worthwhile cause and shall once again plan to enter a team into the River Severn Raft Race to raise funds for the Babygrow Appeal,” explains Andy.
