REACH: Regulation 1907/2006/ECMultisol are fully aware of REACh and its implications, and are committed to meeting our legal obligations, as a distributor for some of the World’s largest chemical companies. Throughout the entire process, we have been in close contact with our suppliers responsible for the Registration stages mandatory to the legislation.
We can confirm that we have been notified in good faith that all substances supplied by Multisol Group are Pre-Registered, and therefore eligible for legal sale within the European Union.
Multisol Group cannot assume any liability as to whether or when, our suppliers or other participants within our supply chain, will fully register specific products. We will, of course, make every effort to inform customers of any changes in material availability or their longer term circumstances.
The majority of our suppliers have been working with the large trade associations to develop a series of Generic Exposure Scenarios (GES’s). These aim to capture the majority of downstream uses in a simple manner, based around their likelihood to cause exposure to both man and the environment in a particular way.
The detail of this GES approach is still being finalised and we aim to get back to customers as soon as it is known whether any application will become unsupported upon full registration of a product.
As a distributor & downstream user we have endeavoured to fulfil our obligations by facilitating the flow of information both up and down the supply chain, and hope to minimise any disruption to our customers and the European chemicals market as a whole; whilst ultimately acknowledging the benefits the legislation will bring.
Should you require more information, please contact your local Multisol representative.
