REACH: The Multisol Position

Within Multisol, we distribute for some of the World’s largest chemical companies, and are in regular contact with regards to many of the issues we all face, as part of the REACH process. 

Having worked on our internal preparations for some time now, we have established custom systems to hold the necessary information from both our suppliers and our complete customer base, for every product taken.

As a distributor, we are committed to our obligations of facilitating the flow of information both up and down the supply chain.  Consequently, we ask our customers to be as open as possible and provide usage / application information for each product taken in accordance with the "use descriptor system" of RIP3.2.

By ensuring this information is accurately fed up to our supplier principals, we hope to minimise any disruption to our customers and the European chemicals markets as a whole, and maximise the number of product applications permitted; whilst ultimately acknowledging the benefits the legislation will bring.
