Estasol® - Higher Purity Dibasic Ester from Dow Haltermann

Multisol, in conjunction with Dow Haltermann Custom Processing (DCHP), are proud to be able to offer Estasol®, a clear colourless fluid that offers excellent solvency coupled with a good environmental profile. 

Unlike traditional dibasic ester (DBE) grades, Estasol® production involves a high resolution distillation after the esterification reaction, giving a higher purity and lower odour product.

The effective solvency power of Estasol® mean it suits a myriad of application areas; from acting as an alternative to traditional solvents and the removal of semi-cured resins, to paint strippers and inclusion within hand cleaning formulations.
