Multisol SA bring Netball to Playball at Blue Mountain

With the continued success of the Playball scheme at Cape Town's Blue Mountain Primary School giving the local boys a taste for football, the sponsorship from Multisol South Africa has recently helped to introduce activities specifically for the girls.

The scheme has expanded to include Netball, with a total of fifty-six local girls currently benefitting from the programme.  Two coaches provide guidance and tuition with one session running for 7 to 9 year olds on Mondays, and a second running for 10 to 12 year olds on Tuesdays.

The activities take place at local courts approximately a five minute drive away, for which the school has organised transport.  The girls have taken to the sport well, and are eager to learn more, with the coaches now looking to involve the teams in friendly competitive matches.
