Double Shortlisting at the Chems NW Awards

Members of the Multisol UK team recently attended the Annual Chemicals North West Awards Ceremony, having been shortlisted not only for the Company of the Year category for the second year running; but also for the Sustainable Manufacturing award.

The awards aim to showcase the world-class chemical industry of the North West, with the prestigious black tie ceremony being held at the Midland Hotel in the centre of Manchester. 

The Multisol entry for Co of the Year highlighted the continuous expansion the company has shown and how the company’s systems, which serve as a benchmark for others to follow, have been built around a total commitment to the principals of Responsible Care.  The Sustainable Manufacturing entry detailed how the company has continued to invest heavily in the rolling development and continuous improvement of both the internal systems and operational plant.

Chemicals North West CEO Jenny Clucas commented, “Again, companies have proven that they are still investing in skills, innovation and sustainable development in order to improve their businesses and that they have not dropped corporate social responsibility activities from their agendas.”

Although we didn't walk away with the awards at the end of the evening, the shortlisting itself recognises the contribution Multisol makes not only to the North West, but to the chemical industry as a whole.
