Solvent Industry Association Spring Dinner

The Solvents Industry Association Annual Dinner that took place at the House of Commons was dedicated to the memory of Dr. Ashok Kumar MP who sadly died on Monday 16th March.

Dr. Kumar was the sponsor of the event, as the MP for the constituency of Middlesborough South and East Cleveland, and known throughout the industry for his continued work of pushing parliamentary issues concerning manufacturing within the chemical industry.

In his speech, Mottie Kessler, SIA Chairman noted Dr. Kumar’s  contribution and support to the Chemical Industry and his sponsoring of the SIA.

Dr. Kumar enthusiasm and support will be greatly missed.

Dari Taylor MP for Stockton South welcomed the association and paid tributes to the  contribution it makes to the UK economy and industry. She further encouraged its members to continue the dialogue they had with the late Dr. Kumar with MP’s from all parties who are keen to support the association and industry.
