Multisol SA help local community to Playball

Multisol Group have long been proud of their community interactions, and this certainly holds true for Multisol South Africa and their sponsorship of a Playball scheme at the Blue Mountain Primary School in Cape Town.

Playball is a movement & sports development programme for children aged 2-9 years, where they get the opportunity to learn a broad range of  sporting skills & important physical attributes such as coordination, balance & spatial awareness.  Children also learn essential life skills such as confidence, concentration, self-discipline & independence; all vital early learning goals that are basic building blocks for living successful lives.

In 2008, a total of 59 children between the ages of 4-7 years received weekly classes of 45 minutes, concentrating on specific skills from sports such as cricket, football, hockey, netball, tennis, basketball, and baseball; the range of which covers most aspects of general sports techniques.  2009 will see the fourth year of coaching at Blue Mountain, and hopes to see the addition of netball as an activity for the girls in the school.
